Portrait of Ghazal

Product, design, code.

Developer moving into product ownership. I find the problems, make the product decisions, design them, and take them to market.

Unwrappa

A marketplace where creators and brands find each other. I met a small creator who could not get collaborations. She was good, brands just had no way to find her.

  • 1Matching goes both ways. Brands can invite creators they want, and creators can apply to brands themselves, so a collaboration can start from either side instead of over cold DMs.
  • 2Creators are verified manually before they can apply. Slower to grow, but it means a brand can trust who is reaching out to them.
  • 3500 creators and 14 brands today, on recurring monthly revenue that is still growing. I run the growth myself.
  • 4Improvements come straight from the users. Creators and brands send me reviews and tell me what is not working, and I ship a fix. That loop runs most days.
  • 5Mine from the first idea to launch: the problem, the product decisions, the design, and the marketing.

Mediakitser

Media kits any creator can make in minutes. Running Unwrappa meant looking at media kits all day, and the pattern was obvious: the creators without one were not getting collaborations at all.

  • 1Pick a template, fill in your numbers, download. It replaces an afternoon in a design tool, so a creator can have a good kit whether or not they know how to design.
  • 2Built as its own product rather than a feature inside Unwrappa. Every creator needs it, including the ones who will never join a marketplace.
  • 3Free to preview, paid to download. A couple of sales a week, with all the marketing done by me.
  • 4I watch the funnel in PostHog: who previews, where they hesitate, where they leave without downloading. The drop-offs decide what I change next.
  • 5My second product, started while the first was running and taken from idea to launch on my own initiative.

A weight management service

My day job is at a Swedish digital healthcare group, where I am product owner for a service that has not launched yet. It stays unnamed here.

  • 1I own scope and direction, designed the clinical triage, and designed and built the site.
  • 2Questionnaire logic, branching, and red flag screening, written for physicians to review and reworked on their clinical feedback.
  • 3Most of the job has been coordination: legal, clinical staff, external vendors, several engineering teams, and other product owners.
  • 4Not public yet, so there is nothing to show here. I am happy to walk through the triage design and the decisions behind it in a conversation.
Hidden until launch Happy to walk through it in a conversation

What I work with

Building

React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Next.js, Node, Payload, Supabase. Angular, RxJS and NgRx from earlier work.

Designing

Interface and visual design, brand and copy, Figma. Both product identities are my own work, and so is this page.

Owning

Specs for engineering and clinical review, vendor evaluation, funnel analysis in PostHog, pricing, coordination across teams.

How

Heavy use of AI-assisted development. It is a big part of how I get from an idea to something working quickly.
